The 1997 Bow Wow was held in Macon, Georgia on April 27 and coincided with the annual DCA specialty. Organized by Renee Hamilton, Jane Manturi, Pam Finn, Bill Whitaker, Kathy Cook, and Denise Page the events of the day included Doxie Bingo, chicken weiner bobbing (won by one of the Demon Sisters), doxie tricks, find the food, door prizes, costume contest and a very nice Italian lunch buffet. Who can forget Oscar Cook's heartwrenching crying when his daddy, Richard, walked just four feet away or Kacy Payne diving into the weiner bobbing pan or tiny, little Harley Brantley and, of course, the resident hoooman doxie Cujo. The warmth coming from the DC!! Bow Wow room more than compensated for the cold, damp weather outside. Old friends met and new friends were made. Afterall, that's what Bow Wows are for! Onward to Dallas in 1998!!

Buddy Cameron certainly enjoyed himself at the Bow Wow! Alright Buuuud!!
